Normanby Hall Mini Day
21st June 2009
Another year, another Normanby Hall Mini Day and another fantastic display
in the glorious sunshine!
More than 2,000 visitors enjoyed the event - the weather was glorious and the Mini
owners were out in force. This really was our best Normanby Hall Mini Day yet!
The 1960's rally-cross driving ace, 'Jumping Jeff Williamson', opened the show which compiled of a variety of competitions, displays, traders stalls and activities.
Mike James, chairman of the Trent Valley Mini Owners Club said the event was a huge success.
"The day is for people who are utterly passionate about Mini's both displaying them and using them. We were delighted to have our special guest 'Jumping Jeff' open the show and this is probably our biggest yet. This year is the 50th anniversary of the Mini so owners up and down the country are taking part in events like this throughout the year - it is a great excuse for a celebration."
All of the money raised from the event will be donated to our chosen charities, which include the Lindsey Lodge Hospice, LIVES, Liferiders and Headway.
Thank you to all who attended, and everyone who helped to make the day a huge success!
If you somehow managed to miss the event, don’t panic! There are photographs on this page and on our forum for you to have a look at. You can definitely see what a good time was had.
Don’t forget that this event will be taking place next year on 20th June - put it in your diary!
